The South India Digital Publishers Association (SIDPA), representing leading digital media organizations, has strongly condemned the use of unparliamentary and abusive language by Telugu cinema producer Razesh Danda toward a media outlet covering his film.
SIDPA emphasized that professional differences should be expressed with dignity and respect, and that having a public platform does not give anyone the right to insult, threaten, or demean others. Such conduct is completely unacceptable and goes against the principles of decency and professional ethics.
The association also highlighted that public threats, including those implying violence or harm, are considered criminal offenses under the law.
SIDPA reaffirmed its commitment to protecting journalists and media organizations and stated it will not tolerate any form of intimidation, abuse, or threats. The organization remains steadfast in upholding press freedom and ensuring accountability for anyone attempting to undermine it.
