Jason Sanjay is set to make his directorial debut with an action-adventure comedy starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. The film is produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions, one of South India’s biggest production houses. The shoot is nearly complete, with only a song remaining.
Titled Sigma, the movie reflects the fearless and bold nature of its protagonist. It revolves around a daring youngster who defies societal norms to chase ambitious goals. The first look poster features Sundeep Kishan sitting atop a massive pile of gold bars and bundles of currency, suggesting a treasure hunt backdrop. His determined expression, bandaged hand, and slightly rugged appearance hint at a gritty, action-packed role.
Blending the thrill of a treasure hunt with the suspense of a crime thriller, the film promises a mix of high-octane action and comedy. Sundeep Kishan has undergone a complete transformation for this intense role and will also be seen romancing Faria Abdullah, while Raju Sundaram plays a pivotal part.
The producers are reportedly delighted with the progress of the film and Jason Sanjay’s direction. The shoot, excluding the final song, was completed in just 65 days. Music is composed by S. Thaman, and Krishnan Vasant handles cinematography. Once the last song is wrapped, the team will focus on post-production, aiming for a summer release, with promotional activities expected to begin soon.
