Ace shuttler and World Badminton Champion P V Sindhu has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the Andhra Pradesh government for its campaign against corruption.
Sindhu is at present a Group-I officer of the state government and has been holding the post of Officer on Special Duty at Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad, which is under the control of the AP government. Sindhu is now preparing for the forthcoming Olympics.
On Tuesday, YSR Congress president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy released a promotional advertisement to continue its crusade against corruption.
‘’Corruption –free Andhra Pradesh is our Chief Minister’s vision. If anybody seeks bribe or indulges in graft, please call toll-free number 144000,” Sindhu says in the promo released by the chief minister at Secretariat on Tuesday.
While releasing the promotional video, Jagan said whether it was small work or real-time insurance, only graft seems to be working.
“Finally, one has to bribe even to get a toilet sanctioned. Corruption should be rooted out completely,” he said.
