Singer In Trouble After Objections Over Her Annamayya keerthana!

God and Religion are very sensitive topics and one has to be very careful while dealing with them. We have seen what happened with Nupur Sharma when she made objectionable comments on Prophet. All the Arab nations responded firmly and demanded strict action against her.

While the issue is still going on, a popular singer landed in a big controversy. Now people from her own religion are not happy with what she had done and they are demanding an apology from her for what she had done.

Noted Singer-dubbing artist Sravana Bhargavi is facing the heat for the video she dropped on YouTube. In the video, she sang an Annamayya keerthana. However, the video shows her singing the same while doing various things like walking around, sleeping on the bed, and playing with her legs.

A section of people have objections over the video and even the members of the Annammayya trust raised a few concerns over the song and asked her to remove the song from YouTube.

However, Sravana Bhargavi is saying that she has done nothing wrong and she will not remove the song. The trust members tried to make her understand the situation. But the singer is not listening, according to the trust members.

Annamayya keerthanas have a special place in the hearts of the Telugu people and they are seen as holy by many. Most of the time, the Keerthnas are played only in the temples. While making a video on such Keerthanas, Sravana Bhargavi should have given ears to what she is doing.

At least she should have understood the situation when the trust members raised a few reservations. But her response of saying no to the removal of the song is adding fuel to the controversy.

A call recording featuring distributor Shashi is currently going viral on social media, creating strong buzz around The Raja Saab. Shashi, who reportedly watched the film, shared intriguing insights into its content, sparking excitement among fans.

According to him, Prabhas delivers one of the finest performances of his career, showcasing multiple shades of his acting prowess. He remarked that while Prabhas’ 24-year journey has been filled with memorable roles, The Raja Saab feels like a culmination of all those performances, blending every strength the star is known for into a single, powerful act.

Shashi further noted that the film carries the classic mass vibe reminiscent of vintage Chiranjeevi entertainers, particularly echoing the energetic spirit of Donga Mogudu, but presented in a fresh and contemporary style.

He also revealed that Prabhas’ much-talked-about cigar scene has currently been trimmed and is expected to be added back from January 15. Among the standout moments, he specifically highlighted a hospital sequence, calling it deeply emotional and a major performance high point. According to him, the last 30 minutes of the film are set to be the biggest highlight, leaving a lasting impact.

Notably, he emphasized that the film doesn’t rely solely on Prabhas’ star power. Sanjay Dutt, Zarina Wahab, and Satya also shine in their respective roles, emerging as heroes in their own right with strong screen presence.

Shashi concluded by saying that audiences might walk out of theatres feeling almost surreal, questioning whether they truly witnessed Prabhas on screen, and feeling compelled to return for repeat viewings. With its blend of mass appeal and emotional depth, The Raja Saab is expected to be a complete family entertainer during the Sankranti season.

If these reactions go beyond personal opinion and strike a chord with the wider audience, The Raja Saab could well emerge as a thumping box-office success. The film is set to hit the big screens with paid premieres on January 8.
