God and Religion are very sensitive topics and one has to be very careful while dealing with them. We have seen what happened with Nupur Sharma when she made objectionable comments on Prophet. All the Arab nations responded firmly and demanded strict action against her.
While the issue is still going on, a popular singer landed in a big controversy. Now people from her own religion are not happy with what she had done and they are demanding an apology from her for what she had done.
Noted Singer-dubbing artist Sravana Bhargavi is facing the heat for the video she dropped on YouTube. In the video, she sang an Annamayya keerthana. However, the video shows her singing the same while doing various things like walking around, sleeping on the bed, and playing with her legs.
A section of people have objections over the video and even the members of the Annammayya trust raised a few concerns over the song and asked her to remove the song from YouTube.
However, Sravana Bhargavi is saying that she has done nothing wrong and she will not remove the song. The trust members tried to make her understand the situation. But the singer is not listening, according to the trust members.
Annamayya keerthanas have a special place in the hearts of the Telugu people and they are seen as holy by many. Most of the time, the Keerthnas are played only in the temples. While making a video on such Keerthanas, Sravana Bhargavi should have given ears to what she is doing.
At least she should have understood the situation when the trust members raised a few reservations. But her response of saying no to the removal of the song is adding fuel to the controversy.

Advance Bookings for Ram Charan’s Game Changer Open in the USA Amid Controversies
December 17, 2024
The much-awaited pan-Indian film Game Changer, directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan, is set to release in theaters on January 10. In anticipation of the release, advance bookings for the movie have opened in the USA, generating significant buzz among fans. However, the distribution strategy has sparked concerns and debates among Mega fans in the region.
Reports suggest that fans have raised issues regarding the number of shows allocated for Game Changer, especially during prime time slots. Allegations have surfaced claiming that the distributor, Shloka Entertainments, is showing favoritism toward Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, which is scheduled to release just two days later. Fans argue that the regional film Daaku Maharaj is being given preferential treatment in terms of screen allocation and show timings, despite Game Changer being positioned as a pan-Indian project with wider appeal.
Reacting to these allegations, Shloka Entertainments issued a strong statement, addressing the complaints as baseless and urging individuals to refrain from spreading misinformation. “Don’t post senseless and baseless information. Both movies are releasing on different days with a two-day gap. If you have any proof, send it. Otherwise, don’t spread misleading info,” the distributor stated, defending their allocation decisions.
While both films have high expectations riding on them, the controversy highlights the competitive nature of major releases and the challenges distributors face in balancing screen allocations for movies with overlapping audiences. Fans will now look forward to how both films perform at the box office once they hit the screens.
