Singer In Trouble After Objections Over Her Annamayya keerthana!

God and Religion are very sensitive topics and one has to be very careful while dealing with them. We have seen what happened with Nupur Sharma when she made objectionable comments on Prophet. All the Arab nations responded firmly and demanded strict action against her.

While the issue is still going on, a popular singer landed in a big controversy. Now people from her own religion are not happy with what she had done and they are demanding an apology from her for what she had done.

Noted Singer-dubbing artist Sravana Bhargavi is facing the heat for the video she dropped on YouTube. In the video, she sang an Annamayya keerthana. However, the video shows her singing the same while doing various things like walking around, sleeping on the bed, and playing with her legs.

A section of people have objections over the video and even the members of the Annammayya trust raised a few concerns over the song and asked her to remove the song from YouTube.

However, Sravana Bhargavi is saying that she has done nothing wrong and she will not remove the song. The trust members tried to make her understand the situation. But the singer is not listening, according to the trust members.

Annamayya keerthanas have a special place in the hearts of the Telugu people and they are seen as holy by many. Most of the time, the Keerthnas are played only in the temples. While making a video on such Keerthanas, Sravana Bhargavi should have given ears to what she is doing.

At least she should have understood the situation when the trust members raised a few reservations. But her response of saying no to the removal of the song is adding fuel to the controversy.

Michael Biopic Sparks Buzz Among Indian Youth

A surprising wave of buzz is building around the Hollywood biggie Michael among Indian audiences, particularly the youth. The film, based on the life of Michael Jackson, is gaining traction across social media, with Telugu youth also showing notable interest.

From posters to early promotional material, the film has sparked strong curiosity, largely driven by Michael Jackson’s global popularity and the scale at which the biopic is being mounted. Music lovers and younger audiences are especially excited, expecting a grand cinematic tribute to the legendary “King of Pop.”

However, the key question is whether Michael can convert this buzz into solid box office numbers in India. Unlike franchise giants like Avengers: Endgame or Avatar, the film doesn’t come with the advantage of an established cinematic universe or spectacle-driven mass appeal.

While the curiosity factor is strong—particularly in urban centers—its reach in tier-2 regions and mass circuits remains uncertain. Ultimately, the film’s success will depend on how engaging the narrative is and how effectively it connects with audiences emotionally, beyond just celebrating the music and legacy.
