One of the most discussed films even during the lockdown times is none other than Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum, which features Biju Menon and Prithviraj in the lead roles.
Though many felt that the remake might not work in Telugu due to nativity issues, production house Sithara Entertainment is said to be keen on taking it forward.
While reports are coming here and then that senior superstar Balakrishna and happening young chap Rana Daggubati have agreed to star in the film, sources attached to the production house clarified that there is no truth in that.
Actually the production house is getting the script re-written by retaining the original idea but making changes to the nativity related scenes. That way, they want to have a solid script in hand first, after which they want to approach heroes.
Apart from focussing on the script, right now no hero is said to have got approached by the production team or there is someone on their mind. But one big thought is that Sithara Entertainment is looking forward to taking a happening young hero for Prithviraj’s role, which is tough of sorts, as that happens to be a negative role.
