NTR’s recent venture into the Hindi market with War2 did not go as planned. The film, which was expected to open new doors for him in Bollywood, ended up being a massive box office disappointment. The setback has prompted NTR to take a firm decision about his future projects.
Going forward, NTR has resolved to avoid dubbing films entirely and focus solely on original Telugu productions. He intends to collaborate with established Telugu directors to leverage his strong fan base in the Telugu states. The Hindi debut may not have delivered the results he hoped for, but NTR has accepted the outcome and is now ready to bounce back.
Currently, he has two major projects lined up with directors Prashanth Neel and Trivikram Srinivas. His attention is fully on these films, and any other potential projects will be considered at a later stage.
As one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars, NTR is aware of the high expectations that come with his stardom. His decision to avoid other-language films is partly due to the challenges of replicating the commercial success he consistently achieves in Telugu cinema, which, according to him, some non-Telugu directors may struggle to deliver.
This strategic move marks a return to NTR’s core strengths, ensuring that his next projects remain firmly rooted in the Telugu film industry.
