Amid pandemic fear, Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej took a brave step by going for a theatrical release of his latest film Solo Brathuke So Better (SBSB) instead of opting for an OTT release.
Solo Brathuke So Better was released yesterday on the eve of Christmas. This film is the first film from Tollywood to have a theatrical release after the Covid-19 pandemic. Heros like Super Star Mahesh Babu and Vijay Devarakaonda wished the team a good success.
The film started with a good talk from the audience. Despite having only 50 percent occupancy in the theatres abiding by the Covid-19 protocols, the films earned a gross of 4.7 crores on the first day.
On the second too, the film managed to attract a reasonable count of the audience to the theatres. The film collected a gross of 3.29 cr for the second day.
Film analysts say, by Monday, Solo Brathuke So Better might make Breakeven at the box office in many areas in the theaters. If the film fares well, more films are expected to opt for a theatrical release.
