Some actors walk into a new industry and instantly feel at home, and that seems to be the case with Sonakshi Sinha as she makes her Tollywood debut with Jatadhara, starring alongside Sudheer Babu. The recently released trailer has already turned heads, showcasing her intense and mysterious role.
While promoting the film, Sonakshi spoke candidly about her experience working in the Telugu film industry, expressing admiration for its professionalism. She noted that Bollywood could take a few lessons from the South, particularly in terms of discipline on set. According to her, shoots in Tollywood start at nine and wrap up by six, with no chaos or unnecessary delays—a stark contrast to the long, unpredictable hours she has experienced in Hindi cinema. She even joked that Bollywood should “take notes” for better work-life balance.
Sonakshi also highlighted the collaborative and calm atmosphere on Tollywood sets. Everyone works in sync, maintaining focus and energy without rushing or shouting. For her, this environment proved that filmmaking can be efficient, disciplined, and stress-free.
In Jatadhara, she portrays Dhana Pishachi, a role full of intrigue and intensity that has already sparked audience curiosity. Beyond her performance, what resonates most is her grounded and genuine admiration for Tollywood’s work culture—her comments feel heartfelt, not promotional, showing that she has truly embraced the rhythm of the Telugu film industry.
