Noted actor-philanthropist, Sonu Sood is enjoying a real-life hero status now, thanks to all the humanitarian works he did while the nation was reeling under Covid-related lockdown.
Now, almost fittingly enough, Sonu Sood was offered a Rajyasabha Betty by one of the state governments in the country.
But Sonu Sood politely rejected the offer, saying he doesn’t intend to enter active politics just yet. He thanked the state government for their generous offer and intimated them about his disinterest in active politics.
Sonu Sood plans to carry out more philanthropic and humanitarian work in the future as well. He is content with what he has now and is no mood to enter politics.
Sonu will next be seen in megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. He plays an important role in the Koratala Siva directorial. Recently, there were rumors that he was approached by a few Telugu filmmakers, who wanted him to play protagonist roles. Sonu Sood is yet to take the final call in this regard.
