‘Sooseki’ Announcement: Get Ready For The Chartbuster Couple Song!

The highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, continues to dominate social media with every update. Following the viral success of a glimpse featuring Pushparaj (played by Allu Arjun) dressed in a saree, and the chart-topping first single “Pushpa Pushpa” released in multiple languages, the makers are amping up the excitement with the announcement of a second song.

Titled “Sooseki” (also referred to as “The Couple Song”), the second track promises to showcase the romantic side of the film. Scheduled for release on May 29, 2024, at 11:07 AM, the announcement video itself has generated significant buzz. The video features the voice of Keshava (played by Fahadh Faasil) inquiring about the song with Srivalli (played by Rashmika Mandanna). A snippet of the song is included, teasing a melody featuring the vocals of the renowned singer Shreya Ghoshal.

Fans of Rashmika Mandanna can rejoice as the video hints at her signature “Thaggedhe Le” mannerism making a reappearance in the song. Furthermore, similar to her captivating dance performance in the “Saami Saami” song from Pushpa: The Rise, sources suggest “Sooseki” will feature a dedicated hook step for Rashmika.

The song’s lyrics are penned by the esteemed writer Chandrabose and will be available in multiple languages, ensuring a pan-India appeal. Visually, the film boasts the talents of cinematographer Mireslow Kuba Brozek, known for his stunning visuals, and production designers S Rama Krishna and N Monica.

The antagonist role is portrayed by the acclaimed Fahadh Faasil, while Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rao Ramesh, and Dhananjaya round out the impressive cast. Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to hit theaters across India on August 15, 2024.
