The legendary singer S P Balasubrahmanyam is known to be a docile and peaceful person who has always maintained diplomacy and harmony. However, it appears that the situation in Tamil Nadu has rubbed him on the wrong side and he took to his Facebook page to express his pain and anguish. To be frank, SPB spoke exactly what the common man in Tamil Nadu is experiencing.
Sharing his thoughts, SPB urged the leaders to preach their cadre to maintain peace and express their grief in an exemplary way. This is in reference to the violence and arson happening in the state due to Jayalalithaa’s arrest and imprisonment. SPB reminded how taxpayers money is getting ruined and destroyed due to this impulsive actions.
He also revealed how he could not attend his good friend Unni Menon’s celebrations in Palakkad. How his son had to stay back in Salem overnight and how his daughter and son-in-law with their kids had a miserable time coming to Thekkady from Coimbatore. While he reiterated that he doesn’t belong to any party, SPB struck the right chord by quoting these examples. One can imagine the plight of the common man due to this mindless political frenzy.
