Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy faced a rude shock after the Enforcement Directorate issued summons to him along with a few others to appear before the court.It is known that the much-talked-about Aurobindo and Hetero land allotments charge sheet was recently transferred to the Special Court for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) from the Nampally court.
The case was transferred to the special ED court going by the directives of the top court of the country, Supreme Court to complete the case trails of the cases against the politicians.The special court which has speeded up the trails in the case served the summons to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy and Aurobindo Managing Director Nityananda Reddy and PV Ramprasad Reddy
The special Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also served the summons to Trident Life Sciences Director Sarath Chandra Reddy and retired IAS officer BP Acharya.This is in the backdrop of this hearing of the CBI and the ED cases on a daily basis that the AP Chief Minister had written a controversial letter to the Chief Justice of India. That had eventually led to a situation wherein the AP Chief Justice was transferred.
In the summons, the special court directed them to appear before the court on the 11th of January for the hearing in the case.
