Special Focus On Yadadri Temple Development

As the release date draws closer, the makers of Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, have stepped up the film’s production pace. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 27, 2026, and is now in its final stages of shooting.

A key portion of the film was planned to be shot in Delhi, covering prominent locations such as Rashtrapati Bhavan and Agrasen ki Baoli. However, this schedule was pushed by a few months due to multiple factors. Reports suggest that the Delhi shoot spans four to five days and includes several crucial sequences. With the exception of the climax and a special song, the rest of the film has already been wrapped up.

Recently, Ram Charan and the team travelled to Delhi to complete this pending schedule. According to Delhi Times, the shoot, which was rescheduled to November following a bomb blast near the Red Fort, began on Saturday morning near Rashtrapati Bhavan. Heavy fog reportedly delayed filming by nearly three hours, but the team resumed shooting later in the day. By evening, the unit shifted to Agrasen ki Baoli to film additional scenes. The entire Delhi schedule is planned across four days.

Director Buchi Babu Sana has chosen real locations to enhance the film’s authenticity, aligning with Peddi’s raw and rustic village-based narrative. Shooting at Rashtrapati Bhavan was said to be particularly challenging, with the team waiting for months to secure permission. Their persistence eventually paid off, allowing them to film at the iconic site without compromising on their vision.

Following the completion of the Delhi schedule, the team will move on to film the climax sequence, after which a special song will be shot, marking the end of the film’s production. While there have been rumours about Kajal Aggarwal featuring in the special song, no official confirmation has been made so far.

Peddi is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman, adding further buzz to this highly anticipated Ram Charan project.
