The overall cost for the total project is said to be close to Rs 800 crore. For this, more than 300 properties were acquired and people who reside there and run shops were shifted to other places under rehabilitation work.

The corridor also includes a restaurant, museum, Art Gallery, waiting rooms for pilgrims, and the spiritual building. Books on the history of the city were equipped in the building.
