Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are gearing up for their highly anticipated collaboration, Spirit. The film was officially launched recently, and even before shooting has begun in full swing, several speculations are already circulating—especially about the possibility of a Spirit Cinematic Universe.
Bollywood media has been buzzing with rumors of Ranbir Kapoor making a cameo in the film. While it is far too early for such discussions—considering the film is nearly two years away from release—the speculation stems from a light-hearted moment. During the Unstoppable with NBK episode promoting Animal, Ranbir jokingly told Vanga to build a “Spirit universe” and include him in it.
Earlier, rumors also suggested that Chiranjeevi might play Prabhas’ father, and Sanjay Dutt would feature in a key role. However, Vanga firmly dismissed both claims. Such early chatter often creates unrealistic expectations among fans, and Vanga seems keen on avoiding that.
Adding to the confusion is the fact that Triptii Dimri, who plays Zoya in Animal, is also playing the female lead opposite Prabhas in Spirit. This alone confirms that a crossover between Animal and Spirit is not possible. With Triptii romancing Prabhas, the two films clearly belong to different story worlds.
Prabhas will be seen as a police officer, marking another intense and powerful role for the actor. While excitement is high, it is important to note that Spirit is very much a standalone project, and the talk of a connected universe remains pure speculation at this stage.
