Sreeleela is set to make her Bollywood debut with an upcoming film directed by Anurag Basu, alongside Kartik Aaryan, who plays the male lead. In the movie, Kartik portrays the role of a singer, while Sreeleela stars as his love interest. A first-look video was recently released, offering a glimpse of both actors in their roles.
In the teaser, Kartik is seen sporting a thick beard, while Sreeleela adds a touch of glamour to her character. The video, which lasts for a minute, showcases the sizzling chemistry between the two, with reports suggesting that the film will feature intimate moments, including lip-lock scenes.
The film is expected to be a musical drama with strong romantic elements. While there have been speculations that this might be the third installment of the Aashiqui franchise, the makers have not confirmed this. Initially, Tripti Dimri was slated to play the female lead, but Sreeleela replaced her for the role. The film is set to hit theaters during Diwali 2025.
In addition to this, Sreeleela is also gearing up for another Bollywood project, where she will star alongside Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, under the Maddock Films banner.
