Sridevi Apalla, who impressed audiences with the legal drama Court: State vs A Nobody—starring Priyadarshi Pulikonda, P. Sai Kumar, Sivaji, and Rohini, directed by Ram Jagadeesh and produced by Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema—is on a remarkable roll.

She has already signed her second Telugu film, Bandmelam, alongside Roshan, and the first look and glimpses of the movie are generating significant buzz. Now, she is set to make her Tamil debut with a bilingual project directed by Yuvraj Chinnasamy. Abishek Joseph George and Sridevi are part of the cast, and the film is produced by Mini Studios.

In addition, Sridevi has signed her second Tamil film under Joe Production House. While Femina George plays the lead role, Sridevi steps in as a key supporting character. The film promises a blend of youthful energy and emotional depth, with music by Vijay Bulganin, who also scored Baby and Court. Though she is not in the lead, Sridevi’s supporting role is significant and impactful, showcasing her versatility in South cinema.

The makers are confident that this bilingual project will resonate with both Telugu and Tamil audiences. All this comes just a year after Court, which grossed nearly ₹50 crores under Nani’s Wall Poster Cinema banner. Clearly, Sridevi Apalla is an actress to watch out for in the coming years.
