If all had gone well, Sridevi would had been donned the grease paint for famous Sivagami’s role in Baahubali films as she was the original choice. While the role later went to Ramya Krishna who stole the show and won all acclaim and the two installments of the film have shattered Box Office records, media and many fans of Sridevi were shocked as why she didn’t take up the role.
Finally, Sridevi has broken her silence. While promoting her upcoming thriller Mom, Sridevi was asked about why she lost the SS Rajamouli’s epic. Sridevi gently replied saying that another actor took on the role and both parts became hits. She also added that it’s a part of the past, so there’s no point talking about it. Well, it looks like Sridevi has moved on from the topic long time ago.
But recent remarks of Rajamouli describing Sridevi missing the film as “fortune” is something that seems to have not gone well with her. But the actress has chose to stay mum about it as she doesn’t want to become fodder for further gossiping.
