Digital rights have turned into a substantial source of revenue for the makers of Telugu biggies. Top OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, and ZEE5 are ready to offer big bucks for the digital rights of forthcoming biggies.
As per latest reports, the makers of Sridevi Soda Center and Rowdy Boys have sealed OTT partners for their respective films.
Dil Raju, who is funding Rowdy Boys, a youthful actioner starring his nephew Ashish has sold the post-theatrical rights of the film to ZEE5. The film will be out in theaters this Dasara season and will premiere on ZEE5 soon after.
As for Sudheer Babu’s Sridevi Soda Center, this film is also set to premiere on ZEE5. The makers had closed the digital rights deal a long while back. The film is releasing in theaters on the 27th of this month and it will be premiering on ZEE5 a month or so later.
