Actress Srinidhi Shetty, celebrated for her performance in the K.G.F. franchise, is set to make her Telugu cinema debut with Telusu Kada, releasing on October 17. In a recent conversation, she shared insights about the film, her role, and her selective approach to acting.
Srinidhi explained that she prefers taking long breaks between projects, focusing on films with strong stories that bring her genuine happiness and excitement. “I only pick films if the story or team feels right to me,” she said.
Describing Telusu Kada, Srinidhi noted that the movie is a departure from the action-packed K.G.F. series. “No action or blood this time, it’s full of emotions and real feelings,” she shared. Her character, Raha, is portrayed as a kind, clear-minded woman navigating personal struggles, reflecting the nuances of real life.
Srinidhi also highlighted her experience working with a female director for the first time, appreciating the unique understanding of emotions and attention to detail. She expressed pride in waiting for the right project, rather than rushing into films after K.G.F. 2 and Cobra.
