
Actress Sriya Reddy, who plays the powerful role of Geetha in Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film They Call Him OG, has shared a heartfelt appreciation post for director Sujeeth. She praised his vision and writing, which allowed her character to shine with strength and authenticity.
Taking to her X timeline, Sriya wrote, “Sujeeth’s writing of Geetha reminded me that strength on screen is built through courage off it. It takes a director with rare confidence to let a woman stand fierce, whole, and uncompromised within the scale of a film like #OG, and still hold her ground in such a vast cinematic world.”
Expressing her gratitude, she added that portraying Geetha was an unforgettable experience: “…channeling her has been an experience that will stay with me always.”
Sriya also lauded Sujeeth’s qualities as both an artist and a human being: “I always believe when you are a great human being, great things happen. They Call Him OG, which finally released on September 25 after a year-long delay, has opened to a strong response, generating huge excitement among fans. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the DVV Entertainment banner, the film features a stellar cast including Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy.
With stunning cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran ISC and Manoj Paramahamsa ISC, and editing by Navin Nooli, the film delivers a mix of mass, mystique, and madness, living up to its tagline “They Call Him OG.”
