SSR drug case: NCB captures two more drug peddlers after conducting multiple raids

Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Siddharth Pithani’s NCB (Narcotics control bureau) custody was prolonged to June 4 on Tuesday. The custody extension order was served by the Magistrate court in Mumbai. As part of the probe, Pithani was produced before the magistrate court by the NCB officials as they found call records that proves, he had links with drug nexus. Now the investigation that took a back seat resumes in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

After examination, the magistrate court had permitted an extension of Pithani’s custody. Besides, the agency had also summoned Sushant Singh Rajput’s staff workers Neeraj and Keshav on Tuesday. Both were suspected to be involved in drug racket too.

After receiving information during Sidharth’s interrogation, NCB started conducted multiple raids since last night in multiple locations including Lokhandwala in Andheri West and Bandra in Mumbai.

Sources now reveal that two drug peddlers have been captured by the police.

Reportedly, the two drug peddlers – Harish Khan and his brother Sakib have been nabbed from the city’s Bandra area. Both peddlers were grilled by the authorities, but Sakib has been sent to the Bandra Police Station as he had more cases on his name. Apart from drug peddling, Sakib has 19 cases registered against him by the Mumbai Police.
