Stalin sworn in as the CM of Tamil Nadu, takes key decisions

DMK Chief MK Stalin has sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Friday morning and has taken 5 key decisions already, towards the welfare of the people of the state. Stalin signed on several documents, finalizing these key decisions.

One of the decisions includes that the government has decided to let the government health insurance applicable in private hospitals as well, which will cover the medical cost of the people undergoing any sort of treatment at any hospital in the state, including in private hospitals.

It has also been decided that 2.07 Crore families will get financial assistance of Rs. 4000, in view of the coronavirus pandemic devastating the state. The money would be paid in two installments, with the eligible families getting Rs. 2000 in each of the two installments. The Stalin government has also reduced the price of milk by Rs. 3 in the state.

Public transport for women and students has been made free across the state from May 8th, and Stalin even promised to put up a special unit within 100 days, for special complaints.
