There is no doubt in saying that Deepika Padukone is the most popular actress in our country. In fact, she is also the highest paid heroine in the entire country. In a media interview in the past, Deepika said that she has no interest in doing cameos and will not sign any roles which don’t have any prominence.
But, Deepika broke her words as she now agreed to do a cameo in her husband Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film, 83. Ranveer is essaying the role of Kapil Dev in this vintage sports drama and Deepika will be essaying the role of Kapil’s wife Romi Bhatia in this movie.
Already, the shooting has begun in England recently and the star actress will be joining the sets soon. According to the sources, she is being paid a whopping amount of Rs. 14 crores for this role which will last for barely 15 minutes. Down here, star heroes are not getting paid 10 crores for the entire film and on the flip side, Deepika is charging 15 crores for just a cameo.
