Despite the fact that ‘Sye Raa’ has failed to recover its total theatrical sales from the box office, the film touched nearly 104+ crores share in the Telugu states which is a mega feat of sorts. That made Tollywood’s star heroes run after director Surender Reddy, as they understood his bigger capabilities now.
The likes of Mahesh, NTR and Allu Arjun believed in Surender Reddy earlier itself, but the director scored duds like Athidhi and Oosaravelli but only Race Gurram worked for him. And now, the likes of Prabhas and Mahesh are very much interested to team up with him. After Surender Reddy met Prabhas, other day he has met Mahesh as well, and we can’t rule out the possibility of them discussing a future project.
Reports are coming that producer Dil Raju has locked Surender Reddy by paying him fat pay check and he will surely set a big star hero for the director’s next. We have to see whether Prabhas or Mahesh works with him, but surely Surender Reddy has upped the game with Sye Raa and he has to live up to that now.
