Mohanlal’s son, Pranav Mohanlal, while having made his acting debut, prefers a low-key presence in the industry and works on select films.
Now, it’s the turn of Mohanlal’s daughter and Pranav’s sister, Vismaya Mohanlal, who is all set to make her acting debut in Mollywood. She will star in a film titled Thudakkam, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor.
Interestingly, Vismaya is a writer by passion and has always been inclined toward storytelling and literature. Her unexpected transition into acting has piqued the curiosity of fans and film enthusiasts alike. Many are now eagerly awaiting her first appearance on screen, hoping she follows in the footsteps of her legendary father.
Pranav Mohanlal expressed his excitement and support via social media, writing, “My sister is taking her first step into the world of cinema. I’m extremely proud and excited about her journey!”
Fans have since flooded social platforms with congratulatory messages, wishing Vismaya great success and hoping she emerges as the next big star in Malayalam cinema.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal is enjoying a strong run at the box office with recent hits like Empuraan directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Thudharam directed by Tarun Moorthy, both of which showcased his versatility and screen presence.
