Sudheer Babu’s supernatural fantasy thriller Jatadhara, co-starring Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha in her Telugu debut, is all set to hit theatres on November 7. The trailer has already created a strong buzz, earning praise for its intriguing concept and grand visuals.
At the film’s pre-release event, attended by director Sailesh Kolanu as the chief guest, Sailesh remarked, “The title Jatadhara itself radiates power and positivity. The trailer genuinely gave me goosebumps.”
Sudheer Babu, visibly emotional during his speech, opened up about his personal and professional journey. “I often ask myself — who am I? I’m Krishna garu’s son-in-law, Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law — facts I’m proud of. But when I decided to become an actor, my son was just nine months old. There were times I wanted to give up because the stronger your dream, the heavier your burden. I went through countless auditions, carrying my dance and action videos, facing rejection after rejection. I had no shortcuts, just persistence and belief.”
He added, “I don’t say this for sympathy — I only want love and respect. I know some cheers here are for Mahesh Babu, but I also know a few in the crowd are genuinely here for me. I live and fight for that one person’s belief in me.”
Talking about Jatadhara, Sudheer said, “I play a ghost hunter who doesn’t believe in ghosts but deeply believes in God. It’s a layered, intense story that will resonate with both believers and skeptics.” He also praised his co-stars Sonakshi Sinha and Shilpa Shirodkar for their stellar performances, calling them “pillars of strength” in the film.
With its gripping premise and emotional depth, Jatadhara looks poised to be one of Sudheer Babu’s most defining works yet.
