Speculation has been rife about director Sujeeth’s payment for OG and whether any last-minute disagreements arose between him and producer DVV Danayya regarding the film’s budget. However, the facts tell a different story.
Sujeeth’s agreed remuneration for OG was ₹6 crore, which has already been fully paid by the producer. A few days before the film’s release, Sujeeth requested a climax re-shoot involving Japanese artists and an overseas shoot. This led to some discussions, but ultimately, DVV Danayya approved ₹1 crore for the re-shoot.
Separately, Sujeeth was previously set to direct a film starring Nani and had received an advance of ₹1.5 crore for the project. Although the film did not materialize, Sujeeth still retains the advance amount.
Therefore, the circulating rumors suggesting that Sujeeth has not been paid by DVV Danayya are entirely baseless.
