Mahesh Babu who was mighty impressed with Sukumar’s work in Rangasthalam decided to do another film with him.Mahesh’s first association with Sukumar gave mixed results for him. 1 Nenokkadine turned out to be a cult film, but ended up as commercial disaster.
Mahesh respects the work of Sukumar and is looking forward to work under his direction again.It has been over six months since Mahesh’s next with Sukumar was announced, but the latter is yet to lock a storyline for it.Sukumar has reportedly narrated an action film set in pre-independence era, but Mahesh didn’t like the idea as too many films with that backdrop are already underway.
Sukumar and his script writers team are currently working on the storyline for Mahesh’s film.Sukumar wants to come up with an innovative characterization plus backdrop with all the commercial ingredients in place.He wants do something as complete as Rangasthalam and even Mahesh is looking for such script.
Sukumar will meet Mahesh again in January and will narrate the new story. Superstar will take a final call on his next project after meeting Sukumar.
