After surviving a massive accident and making a full recovery, Sai Dharam Tej is arriving back on the big screens with a mystery thriller titled ‘Virupaksha’. This interesting flick is releasing on the 21st of April and the team is fully busy with the promotions. After giving a lot of interviews, the film’s unit held a pre-release event in Eluru and it generated a lot of buzz among the audience.
As we know, this film is directed by star director Sukumar’s former student Karthik Dandu. The ‘Pushpa’ director showcased a lot of belief in the debutant as he penned the screenplay of ‘Virupaksha’ apart from co-producing it. During the event, he spoke about the dedication of Karthik Dandu and his passion for cinema.
Sukku said, “Director Karthik Dandu’s lifespan is very small when he decided to make Virupaksha, Many doctors said that he won’t survive more than 6 years, He decided to direct a film and die, Without steroids his day won’t pass his health condition is that critical. It’s because of his mother’s prayers he came out of that critical condition.”
He talked about Sai Dharam Tej worked hard for this movie after the accident and hoped that the film will be successful just because of the team’s efforts. ‘Virupaksha’ is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam industries. ‘Kantara’ fame Anjaneesh Loknath composed the music for this movie. BVSN Prasad bankrolled the film. It is jointly produced under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. It’s a new-age thriller that has the screenplay written by Sukumar and directed by Karthik Dandu. Sai Chand, Brahmaji, Rajiv Kanakala, Ajay, Sunil and others are playing key roles. Samyuktha Menon is the heroine in this movie.
