One such duo is Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad who have teamed up for all the movies of the director.
Recently at Prathiroju Pandage success event, where director Sukumar attended as a Chief Guest, the director praised Thaman for giving good songs and terrific background score for the film. In the end, Sukku stated, “Being a DSP fan, I should not praise you more than this”, leaving everyone into laughs.
That explains how much impact DSP had on Sukumar and also vice-versa as the composer always gives hit albums for this creative director. In the wake of DSP’s latest work for movies like Sarileru Neekevvaru not getting attention, many are looking forward to what he will be doing for #AA20. But going by the confidence Sukku has, it looks like they will repeat the magic again.
Because if Devi Sri fails to deliver for Sukumar then the consequences will be very serious, that could push the composer’s career a downward spiral.
