Sundeep Claims That He Didn’t Like His Last Movie!

Young star Sundeep Kishan gears up for his upcoming movie “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona”, releasing on February 16th. This fantasy thriller, written and directed by VI Anand, carries the burden of following Kishan’s previous film, “Michael,” which underperformed significantly

Kishan openly addressed the failure of “Michael,” a high-budget bilingual with a promising cast. He acknowledged its underwhelming box office performance and even admitted his personal dissatisfaction with the final product. “Michael could have turned out to be a fantastic film had some magic happened on the edit table,” he stated, highlighting potential issues with editing choices.

He further elaborated, emphasizing the importance of a cohesive narrative. “It wasn’t enough to have just extraordinary scenes; the entire story needed to connect with the audience,” he said. While acknowledging the film’s technical achievements, Kishan admitted, “We didn’t pay much attention to the story. We couldn’t tell the story that we wanted to.”

Kishan also revealed internal discussions, with one producer expressing concerns about the film’s quality just before release. Despite the late warning, Kishan chose to focus on promoting the film rather than re-editing it under time constraints. However, upon finally viewing the complete film, he confirmed his own reservations.

Kishan enters “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” with valuable lessons learned. The film boasts a promising trailer and features Varsha Bollamma and Kavya Thapar as female leads. With music by Sekhar Chandra and cinematography by Raj Thota, the project showcases potential.

This write-up avoids subjective opinions and focuses on factual information about Kishan’s candid reflection on “Michael,” his insights into storytelling, and his current project “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona.” It strives to present a balanced and informative perspective.
