It was recently announced that Victory Venkatesh will be remaking ‘Drishyam 2’ under the direction of Jeethu Joseph who directed by the original too. As we know, ‘Drishyam 2’ released directly on Amazon Prime Video on February 19th. It got a tremendous response and critics highly praised the gripping narration filled with a lot of turns.
The latest update suggests that the shooting of ‘Drishyam 2’ remake will be kick-starting from 8th March. Suresh Babu will be bankrolling this project and the actors who played the lead in the first part including actors like Meena, Naresh, Nadhiya and others will be playing their parts in this sequel too.
The first part of ‘Drishyam’ was released in 2014 and turned to be a good hit. With the original version available on the OTT platform, we need to wait and see how the remake fares at the box-office when it releases.
