Sankranthiki Vasthunnam emerged as the winner of the 2025 Pongal race in Tollywood, captivating audiences with its family-friendly comedy-drama. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, this Venkatesh-starrer has been a massive hit at the box office, drawing viewers of all ages. One of the standout features of the film is the character of Bulli Raju, portrayed by debutant Revanth.

Revanth plays Venkatesh’s son, Bulli Raju, an OTT-addicted youngster whose life spirals out of control due to his obsession with online content. Interestingly, Revanth’s entry into the film industry came through an unusual turn of events. A huge fan of Pawan Kalyan, Revanth had campaigned for the Janasena Party during the recent elections. His viral campaign video caught the attention of director Anil Ravipudi, who decided to audition him for the role, leading to his debut in Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.

During the success meet of the film, Revanth shared a heartfelt message, emphasizing that his character was meant to serve as a warning to kids, urging them not to fall into the same destructive habits as Bulli Raju, who gets influenced by OTT shows.
