Most of the key leaders of the Congress party are standing in support of Etela Rajender, who has been sacked from the Telangana cabinet under land grabbing charges.
Etela is receiving support from every congress leader except Padi Kaushik Reddy, who contested as a Congress candidate in the 2018 elections and lost. Kaushik Reddy is the only leader from the Congress party who has been campaigning alleging that Etela is involved in land grabbings and corruption. Kaushik Reddy’s participation in media conferences and TV live shows portray Etela as a land grabber and a corrupt politician irking Congress leaders.
