A case of rape has been registered against Bollywood producer Bhushan Kumar. The managing director of T-Series Company has been accused of raping a 30-year-old woman.
As per reports, the ace filmmaker took advantage of the woman on the pretext of giving her an opportunity in his company’s project. She has alleged that in the name of giving work, Kumar has abused her for more than nearly three years, from 2017 to August 2020. She also alleged that the accused had threatened to make her photo and video viral.
The case was registered u/s 376 IPC against Kumar at DN Nagar Police station. Although no arrest has been made, the investigation is currently in progress.
For the unversed, in 2018, Bhushan Kumar was accused of sexual harassment by an anonymous Twitter user. The woman claimed that she was dumped from the film because she denied sleeping with the ‘boss.
