As he continues to helm large-scale Pan-India projects, he’s also been nurturing new talent through his banner, Sukumar Writings. Now, the creative legacy expands further with Tabita Sukumar stepping into the spotlight with her own production house — Tabita Sukumar Films.
Marking a new era for the Sukumar family, Tabita will take a leading role behind the camera, overseeing creative and production aspects of upcoming projects. Her first major venture is none other than the sequel to the 2015 cult hit Kumari 21F. The original, written by Sukumar and directed by Palnati Surya Pratap, starred Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel and became a breakout success for its bold storytelling and fresh narrative. With the sequel now in motion, fans are eager to see how Tabita brings a new perspective to a story that redefined youthful romance in Telugu cinema.
Meanwhile, Sukumar remains unstoppable. He’s currently scripting RC17, starring Ram Charan, in what will be their second collaboration after Rangasthalam. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers with music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film is set to begin production in February 2026 and aims for a grand release later that year.
With Tabita stepping into production and Sukumar crafting another major project, the family’s cinematic journey is evolving — proving that creativity truly runs in their veins and that the Sukumar legacy is only getting stronger.
