Tabu has acted alongside almost all the top stars of Tollywood and has enjoyed a long, successful journey in Bollywood as well. Nearly two decades ago, she won the National Award for Best Actress for her powerful performance as a sex worker in Chandni Bar. Even today, Tabu continues to shine as an ageless beauty of Indian cinema, balancing impactful roles in both Hindi films and South Indian cinema. She never turns down meaningful characters in Telugu and always embraces strong roles that come her way.
Tabu’s fashion sense is equally admired. Age seems to have no influence on her elegance or charm. Recently, in the film Crew, she matched glamour effortlessly with Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Her remarkable performance as the former lover of a royal figure in the Hollywood series Dune: Prophecy also received appreciation. She will be seen again in the upcoming sequel Dune: Prophecy Part 2. Alongside this, she is currently busy with multiple projects, including a film with Vijay Sethupathi and Bhoot Bangla.

Recently, she stunned everyone in a dazzling Abu Jani–Sandeep Khosla designer outfit, turning showstopper for the legendary designer duo. In their iconic architectural coat, Tabu looked exceptionally striking.

Tabu began her acting career in the 1990s, though she revealed she never expected to enter films. She first appeared as a child artist in Dev Anand’s Hum Naujawan (1985), playing his daughter. She later made her debut as a lead actress opposite Rishi Kapoor in Pehla Pehla Pyar (1994), a film inspired by the Hollywood classic Roman Holiday.
In the Dune: Prophecy prequel series, Tabu played the role of the former lover of Emperor Javicco Corino (Mark Strong) and the mother of Constantine (Josh Huston). The second season of Dune: Prophecy is already in production.
