Tamil actor of Telugu origin, Bobby Simha, is a National Award winning actor whose Tamil films are winning accolades for the way he chooses scripts and enacts certain roles. But he became a laughing stock for choosing a spineless character called Sethu which he played in Disco Raja movie. And that brings us to the following discussion.
Earlier we have the likes of Madhavan (Savyasachi), Arjun (LIE), Prasanna (Jawan) and Vijay Sethupathi (Sye Raa) making inroads into Tollywood with lots of expectations. But with our directors carving out mediocre roles for them, their presence didn’t help them. Even those films failed to excite any, thus making these actors never come back to Tollywood again while Madhavan is giving another try with Nishabdam.
However, we must say that Arvind Swamy is quite impressive in the remake of Thani Oruvan, which happens to be Ram Charan’s Dhruva movie. He has captivated the attention of audiences quite easily with his tremendous and terrific screen presence in the Surender Reddy directed remake.
Hope Tollywood directors will understand how they are wasting superior talents with their bad writing and direction skills, such that these talented actors will get best roles at least in the near future.
