Tamil director Jayam Raja is all set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with the remake of Chiranjeevi’s Tagore. The movie will have Akshay Kumar in the lead. And the this film, which will be produced by ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is likely to star Tamannaah opposite Akki.
When contacted, Tamannaah’s dad said, “Yes, we are in talks for the Akshay Kumar film to be directed by Jayam Raja.” Tagore was directed by VV Vinayak and has Chiranjeevi and Shriya Saran playing the lead roles. Tagore itself is the remake of a Tamil movie, Ramana directed by AR Murugudoss.
