Not all celebrities will be able to handle two boats quite well. Some actors often fail as producers, forget about any business outside the film industry. However, hotties like Tamanna and Kajal tried their luck outside, but it looks like things are not going as planned.
Thinking that their image itself will be enough to promote their brands, both these hotties actually came up with jewellery businesses. Way back in 2015, Tamanna started e-commerce gold business in the name of ‘Witengold’, while Kajal and her sister Nisha started ‘Marsala Jewellery’ to sell gold products.
An update is that Tamanna’s gold business has come down to a grinding halt a year ago and all efforts to revive it have completely washed out. We hear that the actress doesn’t want to restart it anytime sooner. And then Kajal and her sister managed their business for a while but from last four months they are also looking forward to closing it, says a source. It looks Kajal will also take Tamanna’s route and stay away from the business.
Generally, such businesses will take off only if reviews are written and other celebs do wear them at various events. But with Tamanna and Kajal are known for their ‘commercial’ nature, who would endorse their personal brands for free?
Meanwhile, Rakul’s very own gym business is doing pretty good right now. Probably she clicked by taking franchisee of a brand rather coming up with own brand.
