TDP Parliamentary Party has met on Sunday (Feb 4, 2018) in order to discuss, debate on the injustice meted out to the state of Andhra Pradesh in the Budget 2018. The parliamentary party decided to escalate the fight in Parliament. “Continue to fight in the Parliament. Don’t hesitate to fight even if suspended”, Naidu said to have told MPs.
Parliamentary Party leader YS Chowdary have spoken to media after the meeting. He told media that TDP is in touch with BJP leadership and is trying his best to resolve the issues. YS Chowdary clarified that the party view is different from the views of individuals and MPs of the party.
‘Sujana’ Chowdary further enthused confidence that the issues would be resorted soon. He said that the progress of the state is above anything. “What matters most to us is people and their issues,” said Chowdary.
When asked about growing closeness of YSRCP to BJP and possibility of forging alliance, Sujana Chowdary said, “It is their matter. We don’t have anything to do it. We are not concerned about them.” YS Chowdary demanded that all the promises that made on the floor of the house during AP Reorganisation Act should be honoured and the promises of then PM Manmohan Singh and other leaders of the house should be kept.
TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu also said that the party MPs would follow a tough stand in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. He said that the only agenda of party is to see to it that all promises of Centre to the state must be fulfilled.
