War 2 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of the year, as it brings together two powerhouse stars — Hrithik Roshan and NTR — in a high-octane action drama. With shooting wrapped up and promotions gaining momentum, the film is set to hit the screens in just under a month.

Interestingly, producer Naga Vamsi, who acquired the Telugu rights for the film, has already begun building the hype around it. In a recent interview with Gulte, he shared the main reason for backing this prestigious project.

Naga Vamsi revealed that NTR’s introduction scene in the film is going to be nothing short of spectacular.

“Screen Chirigi Poddhi” (meaning “the screen will explode”), he said, hinting at the scale and grandeur of NTR’s entry.

He further explained that he was driven to acquire the rights purely because of the unique factor of having two of India’s biggest stars — Hrithik Roshan and NTR — facing off on the big screen.

“I didn’t judge the film by watching it beforehand. I took up the project for that one reason — the epic face-off between Hrithik and NTR. That anticipation alone is worth it, and I’m sure it’s going to be a phenomenal experience,” Naga Vamsi remarked.

War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is releasing on August 14th, and the buzz is strong, especially in the Telugu states. Notably, no other recent Hindi film’s Telugu rights have been acquired for such a significant price, reflecting the massive expectations riding on this cinematic clash.
