TDP stands by Pawan Kalyan: New alliance in the making?

Pawan Kalyan-YSRCP war of words is now the talk of the town. Normally reticent Pawan Kalyan is going the whole hog and is attacking the YSRCP government in the fiercest manner possible. The YSRCP leaders too are paying it back in the same coin. In fact, Minister Perni Nani and actor Posani Krishna Murali have launched a fierce attack on Pawan Kalyan.

But strangely, Pawan’s alliance partner BJP is totally silent on the issue. The party has not only did not join the issue, but also none of its leaders backed Pawan Kalyan. Leaders like Kanna Lakshminarayana and Somu Veerraju, who are known to back Pawan Kalyan to hilt, are also silent. On the other hand, the TDP is very vocal on this issue. Its leaders have fully backed Pawan Kalyan.

TDP’s Telugu Mahila chief Vangalapudi Anitha took on Posani for his abusive language about the women in Pawan Kalyan’s family. She said there was no reason why Posani should drag women into the issue. At the same time, TDP MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, a Kapu himself, too joined the issue and slammed Posani. Why is BJP silent and has allowed the TDP to dominate the discourse?

Sources say this could be a trailer of the things to come in AP. Sources say the BJP-Jana Sena alliance may not stay strong and that Pawan could inch closer to the TDP. Sources say, this could be seen in Badvel bypoll itself? Let’s wait and see how things unfold.
