Tech Giant To Boost Jagan’s Push For Vizag City!

Information Technology is the current phenomenon and the sector generates good revenues. The capital cities of the states in the country bank heavily on the IT sector. If we look at cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and others, IT is the main sector and it adds to a major share of the income and revenue.

The proposed executive capital of divided Andhra Pradesh, Vizag is all set to get a boost in IT as tech giant Infosys is likely to start its operations from the shore city on the 1st of October. As said by the concerned Cabinet Minister, all the required arrangements were done and the tech giant is gearing up to start the operations.

Infosys starting its operations from Vizag is surely going to boost the government’s idea to develop the city as the executive capital. With the It firm stepping on the shore city, employment opportunities will be increased and the yet-to-be-started facility is expected to offer employment for around 1,000 employees.

If everything goes well, then there are high chances for Infosys to develop the office facility into a big campus, and the number of employees working for the IT firm from the city will be doubled or tripled. This is a piece of good news for the IT employees.

Vizag branch is one of the four facilities the IT giant planned to start in the nation. Besides Vizag, Infosys is also all set to start facilities in Coimbatore, Kolkata, and Noida. More than the three other regions, the facility in Vizag is special given the financial status of the state.

Besides employment, the IT office will also boost the real estate sector as people will be interested in buying lands close to the IT zone as the area gets developed rapidly compared to other places.

On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh government is very strong on its proposal to develop three capitals for the state so that the development will be decentralised. The previous government led by Telugu Desam Party proposed Amaravati as the capital. However, the YSRCP changed that after coming to power saying that the development should be decentralised rather than focusing only on Amaravati.
