TECNO is gearing up to make its most ambitious entry yet into India’s premium smartphone market with the launch of the TECNO Spark Slim, touted as the world’s slimmest 5G smartphone featuring a curved display. The device is expected to debut in September at an estimated price of ₹80,000, positioning TECNO alongside industry leaders in the flagship segment.
Measuring just 5.95mm in thickness, the Spark Slim challenges the boundaries of smartphone engineering. While Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge comes marginally thinner at 5.85mm, it lacks a curved display — giving TECNO a potential edge in design innovation.
Though official specifications remain under wraps, industry sources suggest the Spark Slim will draw heavily from the prototype showcased at Mobile World Congress 2025, which featured:
6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 4,500 nits peak brightness
5200mAh battery in an ultra-thin frame
Dual 50MP rear cameras and 13MP front camera
Premium build using stainless steel and recycled aluminium
Performance details are yet to be confirmed, but at this price point, expectations point toward a flagship-grade chipset. TECNO’s ability to combine ultra-thin design with durability, performance, and battery life will determine whether it can stand up to premium competitors in a fiercely brand-loyal market.
