Teja Sajja’s Mirai Set for Pan-India Release

Teja Sajja’s HanuMan made a significant impact in North India upon its release, and now his upcoming film Mirai is also set for a nationwide release, with the backing of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, known for releasing hits like Baahubali and several other blockbusters.

As part of the film’s promotions, Team Mirai, along with Karan Johar, met the media in Mumbai today. During the event, Teja spoke about how it has become easier for actors like him to gain visibility across national and international markets.

In every generation, certain actors have worked hard to maximize exposure for their respective film industries. From legends like NTR and ANR, Krishna and Sobhan Babu, to Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balayya, and Venkatesh, Telugu cinema has consistently had torchbearers. Today, the era belongs to stars like Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR, Mahesh Babu, and others. Teja acknowledged this, saying:

“Rajamouli sir, Prabhas anna, Tarak anna, and Charan anna carved a path for us by sacrificing their prime time and health. Now, we are riding on the path they laid. Very soon, we will take our films to international standards.”

Teja highlighted the pivotal role of Rajamouli, noting that without the Hindi release of Baahubali, Prabhas might not have become a pan-Indian star, RRR would not have happened, NTR may not have been considered for War 2, and Charan’s Hindi stardom would have been limited. Because of Rajamouli’s vision, Telugu films now have the opportunity to release alongside international films with global standards.

Directed by Teja Sajja himself, Mirai is scheduled to hit the screens on September 12th, and Teja’s statements about the film’s national and international reach are already attracting attention.
