It is very well known that not all has been well since Revanth Reddy became the TPCC chief, as the senior members of the Telangana Congress party have been avoiding all party activities, and some senior members, like Sangareddy MLA Jagga Reddy even openly criticising Revanth in the media. This is said to have not sat well with the Congress High Command, who is said to have decided to warn the senior members.
AICC Telangana affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore has rushed to Hyderabad today, on the high command’s wishes, to convene a meeting with all the members of the party at Gandhi Bhavan. He is said to be warning the senior members that severe actions would be taken against them if they continued the same kind of behaviour.
While the Komatireddy brothers and Jagga Reddy are making public statements against Revanth, many other members are not cooperating with Revanth in silence. Komatireddy brothers haven’t been going to Gandhi Bhavan since Revanth became TPCC Chief, and it is now to be seen if they will heed Tagore’s call.
