Telangana Follows AP’s Lead in Quantum Computing and Tech-Driven Healthcare

Andhra Pradesh has already emerged as one of the first states in India to embrace quantum computing, and if plans proceed smoothly, it will soon host the country’s largest operational quantum computing facility.

This initiative forms part of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s broader vision, recognizing quantum computing and artificial intelligence as critical drivers of the future. As part of this strategy, AP is setting up India’s first dedicated Quantum Valley Tech Park, in partnership with industry giants like IBM, TCS, and L&T, integrating hardware, software, talent, and research to foster deep-tech innovation.

Following this lead, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed a healthcare conclave last night, highlighting the role of quantum computing and AI in transforming healthcare into a highly technology-driven field. While emphasizing the need for doctors to stay abreast of the latest technologies, he also stressed the importance of maintaining the human touch in medical practice.

Expressing concern over the rising number of heart-related deaths, the Chief Minister called for a collective effort to prevent cardiac ailments. He suggested that doctors could play a crucial role by volunteering to train school students in CPR techniques, which could significantly reduce preventable deaths.

Revanth Reddy’s focus on technological advancement appears inspired by Andhra Pradesh’s initiatives under Chandrababu Naidu. These steps signal promising developments for the twin Telugu states, positioning them at the forefront of innovation in both technology and healthcare.
